Fishing for some family fun?
Try Go Fish, a fun, heartwarming under-the-sea journey for the entire family,  that arrives on DVD, Digital and On Demand November 19 from Lionsgate.
Winner of the Dove Seal of Approval for all ages and featuring the voice talents of iJustine, Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman, this delightful film about friendship, adventure and helping the environment “teaches kids how humble wisdom can make you” (The Dove Foundation). The will include a music video for “Go Fish (Side by Side)”–an original song performed by pop singer Kate Steinberg– and a digital comic book.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS
All his life, plucky parrotfish Alex has dreamed of being a superhero. He gets his chance when a mysterious flood of black goop erupts near his coral reef. As Alex and his pals—a sea horse, an eel and a blowfish—swim off to confront the menace and save their home, they face a sunken ship with hidden treasure, an abandoned airplane, angry sharks and an undersea volcano.

“Angel of Mine”: A thrilling treat and oodles of tricks

Halloween is a day away.
And a few screams as well.
Noomi Rapace, Yvonne Strahovski, and Luke Evans star in the tense psychological thriller Angel of Mine, which just landed on Blu-ray (plus Digital), DVD and Digital from Lionsgate. This film is currently available On Demand.
Directed by Kim Farrant and written for the screen by Luke Davies and David Regal, Rapace gives an “Oscar-worthy performance” (The Weekend Warrior) as a woman on the edge who believes the daughter of a neighbor, played by Strahovski, is actually her own. The Blu-ray and DVD  includes a “making-of featurette” and cast/crew interviews.

Noomi Rapace stars as Lizzie, a woman who, having suffered a tragic loss years earlier, is trying to rebuild her life when she suddenly becomes obsessed with a neighbor’s daughter, believing the girl to be her own child. As Lizzie’s shocking, threatening acts grow increasingly dangerous, they lead to an explosive confrontation with the girl’s angry, defensive mother (played by Strahovski).

A real-time thriller promises a bad-ass female motorcycle courier

Olga Kurylenko, Gary Oldman and Dermot Mulroney star in the fast-paced action-thriller The Courier, arriving in select theaters and everywhere On Demand on Friday, November 22 from Lionsgate. Kurylenko stars as a bad-ass female motorcycle courier who must fight off a sadistic crime boss’ henchmen in order to protect the one witness that can bring him down!

This intense action-thriller unfolds in real time as two embattled souls fight for their lives. Oscar- winner Oldman stars as a vicious crime boss out to kill Nick, the lone witness set to testify against him.

He hires a mysterious (and, yes, gorgeous) female motorcycle courier (Kurylenko) to unknowingly deliver a poison-gas bomb to slay Nick, but after she rescues Nick from certain death, the duo must confront an army of ruthless hired killers in order to survive the night.

Such is the result with the current rise of cryptocurrency; people find ways to exploit the system and the global economy.

Welcome to Crypto. Kurt Russell and Alexis Bledel highlight this gripping, timely cyber-thriller. This searing action tale also stars Luke Hemsworth and Vincent Kartheiser.

The cyber-thriller will be available on Blu-ray (plus Digital), DVD and Digital on June 18 from Lionsgate.

Whenever we hear about a new Steven Seagal flick, we prepare for the high-octane adventure. The latest example: General Commander, arriving on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and On Demand May 28 from Lionsgate. Sonia Couling and Byron Gibson round out the cast.

Jean-Claude Van Damme stars in the gritty crime thriller “We Die Young”

Action legend Jean-Claude Van Damme takes a powerful and dramatic turn in the action-packed crime thriller We Die Young, available on Blu-ray (plus Digital), DVD and Digital on April 9 from Lionsgate. (The film is currently available On Demand.)

When ruthless drug lord Rincon and his MS-13 gang recruit 10-year-old Miguel to work as a runner in a crime-ridden barrio in Washington, D.C., big brother Lucas is desperate to keep Miguel safe. Fleeing for their lives, the boys are rescued by an Afghanistan war veteran with PTSD named Daniel (played by Van Damme), who helps them find their revenge. Finally, on the wedding day of Rincon’s sister, the ghetto explodes with violence.

Based on the award-winning short film Roads (2008 Student Academy Award for Honorary Foreign Film Award – Foreign Short; 2008 London Film Festival – Short Film), which screened at more than 70 international film festivals and held the Guinness World Record for Most Awards Won by a Student Film, We Die Young focuses on the struggles of gang life in Washington, D.C.
We Die Young also stars Elijah Rodriguez, Joana Metrass and David Castañeda. The Blu-ray and DVD includes a commentary with writer-director Lior Gellar and members of the cast, a storyboard-to-screen comparison and the featurette “On the Set of We Die Young”.

We love it when actors cook up something that will make an impression. Take comedian Dane Cook. He’s quite the stunner in a new type of role in the intense crime-thriller based on a true story, American Exit, arriving on DVD, Digital and On Demand May 14 from Lionsgate.

Based on an incredible true story, this searing crime-thriller stars  Cook as Charlie, a desperate father who steals a million-dollar painting from Anton (played by Udo Kier), a shady art dealer. With time running out, he flees to the California desert with his rebellious teen son, Leo (Levi Miller).
But when Anton and his henchman come seeking revenge, the situation explodes into violence, and suddenly Charlie is not the only one whose days may be numbered.
